The Integrated Rurban Development and Climate Resilience Project (IRDCRP) under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Land and Irrigation invites sealed bids from eligible CIDA-registered contractors for the Rehabilitation of Minor Irrigation Schemes. Bids are called across multiple districts including Mannar, Nuwara Eliya, Badulla, Matale, Kandy, Mullaitivu, Vavuniya, Puttalam, Kurunegala, Anuradhapura, and Monaragala under the Contingency Emergency Response Component (CERC). Call for Expression of Interest (EOI) - Selection of Independent Evaluation Committee (IEC) Members

The Integrated Rurban Development and Climate Resilience Project (IRDCRP) funded by the World Bank, aims to increase the productivity, market access, and climate resilience of agri-food producers in selected areas of Sri Lanka. Key activities include the formation and capacity building of producer groups, promoting youth entrepreneurship, and adopting climate-smart agricultural (CSA) technologies. Consequently, PMU is currently seeking to call/invite expression of interest (EOIs) from suitably qualified and experienced professionals to serve in Independent Evaluation Committee (IEC).

The Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka has received a Credit from the International Development Association (IDA Credit No. 7743-LK) – World Bank towards the cost of the Integrated Rurban Development and Climate Resilience Project (IRDCRP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this Credit to eligible payments under the Contracts given in the table below for the Rehabilitation of Minor Irrigation Schemes and Buildings.
